CFD operates a tailored service which can be delivered as a combination of on-site and remotely, utilising industry leading cloud based applications.
CFD captures, processes, obtains authorisation, stores and enables viewing of transactions, using a completely paperless and cloud based document management system.
Ongoing management of finance function
For an agreed fixed monthly fee (based on transaction volumes and complexity), your business will receive a first class finance function, utilising our cloud based applications which includes the following elements:
- Real time comprehensive bookkeeping, with full audit trail and document management
- VAT management and reporting
- Cash flow management including: Reporting, Credit control, fielding supplier queries and Supplier payment run suggestion and processing, loaded directly on to the bank
- Month end process control and preparation of Management Accounts
- Additional bespoke management reporting as required by the business
- Payroll preparation, processing and compliance
- Maintenance of employee register to assist with the businesses HR function
- Fixed asset register
Year-end procedures
CFD will use their working papers to prepare your Annual Statutory Accounts and your Corporation Tax Return. Once agreed with you we will file these on your behalf.
CFD is also happy to work closely with your existing external accountants, auditors and tax advisors.
CFD will constantly seek to identify improvements to systems, processes and information delivery as we aim to continually exceed our clients’ expectations.
Higher level advice
The CFD service also includes a level of input less often available to the SME sector. Our clients are able to capitalise on CFD’s intimate knowledge and experience of your business.
CFD provides strategic virtual Finance Director or Financial Controller input on a recurring or ad-hoc basis, for example:
- Periodic analysis and presentation of the Management Accounts
- Assistance with planning, budgets and forecast preparation and monitoring
- Assistance with raising finance
- M&A support
In addition we are able to offer additional skills and resources for one-off projects or assignments, allowing your business to scale up as and when required.
